Crayon Roll - Fail!

LOL, I wanted to gift this to a little girl having an owl themed party but since it is as ugly as sin I guess I will let PPP keep it! This was my first time sewing in about 3 months and you can tell! Also I did not have the correct interfacing so I went without...big mistake.

I still have fabric left over so I will have to try again soon. I love these fabrics together, it's the execution that needs improvement :-)

This is hysterically bad.

Baby Shower Card without the Cricut

Made without the Cricut. If I am being honest, this card probably cost about 20 cents to make because the only thing I bought retail was the pink cardstock and it was cheap with a coupon. All the rest I picked up pile of stuff from craigslist for pennies.
I kind of like the look of the vellum phrase. I only glued the far right end of the vellum so there is nice texture from the loose vellum.
What do you think? It is for PPPs daycare teacher.

Birthday Card

I made this card for a little boy turning 2! His room is done in safari-theme so I knew I just had to use this little monkey :-)
I did the tri-fold to add interest and make the monkey and tree more 3-d.
Happy Birthday Keanan!

Baby Shower Card

My sister-in-law is pregnant with her first (see post titled First Card to see the card I made for th Reveal Party). It's also MY FIRST.... I will finally be an Aunt! Colton William is on his way and SIL's shower is this weekend. The bedding for Colton is monkeys/sailboats so I took that and ran with it.

Teacher Appreciation Card

I love this card! It might be my favorite one yet. Birdie and Tweet were both cut using Create a Critter (2nd favorite only to Princess cartridge...ok actually they might be tied as favorite)

PPP loves her daycare teachers. I hope they enjoy this hand-made card because we really do appreciate all that they do for us.

Mother's Day Card for my Mother-in-law

The card for MY mother won't be shown until after she has recieved it because my mom reads this blog. BUT, you can see the card I made for my MIL. She is an artist and loves bold colors and flowers so this paper was perfect for her. This was a pretty easy card to make but I think it is simple and classic. I added a strip of leftover scraps to the envelope to make it more special. MOM was cut using the Mini Monograms cartridge.

Mother's Day card for a stranger...

I am a member of a "Mommy" message board and we drew names anonymously through the Elfster website and the person we drew, we send a card too for Mother's Day. I asked my person their favorite color and their favorite animal and she said "Purple and Dogs"... so there you go!

Ocean Adventure party invites

D is a very good friend (and fellow paper lover) who's daughter is turning 2 this month. Her theme is Ocean Adventure so Danielle came up with a nifty invite idea and I used my cricut to help. I think they turned out super cute!
I am in love with this mermaid, she is so SWEET! (again, this is the Once Upon a Princess Cartridge)
